As players arrive at the Super Eagles Camp in Abuja ahead of Sunday’s all important 2014 World Cup qualifying game against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa, the Super Eagles gaffer, Stephen Keshi has reechoed that the Ethiopian weather will not stop his boys from claiming total points in the Sunday’s game.

The 2014 World Cup play-off first leg pits AFCON winners Nigeria against the team they defeated in a group match in South Africa and the Ethiopians have vowed to utilize the home support and the conditions to beat the Eagles and pave way for a smooth second leg in Nigeria.

Coach Stephen Keshi who admitted that the weather is an advantage to the host, therefore assured soccer fans that the African Champions would defeat the Wayas Antelope in Addis Ababa.

"The weather is sure going to be a problem for our boys who will be coming from a cold region of Europe but I am very confident that we shall overcome that with the travelling arrangement in place for the match.

"We know how they play and we will try to force them to play at our own pace and style. It won't be easy but I have the players with enough quality to go through the weather successfully."

Furthermore, Keshi disclosed that the huge Ethiopian fans won’t pose any threat to his team as no amount of cheers and jeers would intimidate them.

"I don't think the Ethiopian crowd can make my boys jittery or uncoordinated at the Addis Ababa National stadium. How can players who have played in bigger stadia like Nou camp, Wembley, Istanbul and Old Trafford be scared of playing in Addis," Keshi concluded.
