As part of the efforts put in place by the State Government to fastrack the payment of compensation to the real owners of structures demolished within the right of way, Oyo State Government will commence verification exercise at the Oyo Town today Monday July 8th, 2013 at 9:00am.

   Venue of the verification exercise is the Oyo West Local Government Hall, Ojongbodu, along Iseyin Road, within Oyo town.

   Oyo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Pastor Taiwo Otegbeye dropped this hint today in Ibadan.

   The Commissioner disclosed further that the real owners are requested to bring the photographs of the affected building with the owner posed in front of it, four (4) passport photographs and all relevant title documents. He disclosed further that the verification exercise at Oyo is to facilitate the process of compensation and to ensure that the real owners of the structures are the beneficiary of the provision put in place to mitigate the loss occasioned by the dualistion of roads within Oyo metropolis.

    Pastor Otegbeye therefore appealed passionately to all real owners of buildings earlier enumerated in the town to show up promptly for the verification exercise
