CEOAFRICA news desk gathered that the body of the late Chief Solomon Lar is slated to leave the U.S. on Friday and arrive in Nigeria on Saturday.

This is coming from Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States, Prof. Ade Adefuye who also declared on Wednesday, in New York that a senior Embassy staff would also accompany the body.

It would be recalled that Lar, a former governor of Plateau and a former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, died on October 9 at the Inova Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia.
