Hoodlums around Oja'ba area, Ibadan, engaged themselves in inter-gang rivalry, resulting into heavy gun fighting in the area, at the early hours of Wednesday.

By Wednesday morning, residents and traders around the area were scampering for safety, as the "area boys" kept on pursuing themselves into the inner compound.

Though, the police were on hand with armoured tanks, but that had only enabled caution on the streets, while the "area boys" continued their commando-like operations deep inside the inner compound.

As of the time of filing this report, the panicky residents showed great concerns about their safety around the community.
