Organizers of the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Cup announce the inclusion of Gabon in the 2013 edition scheduled for 21-28 November in Accra, Ghana.

In the draw for the tournament conducted last Fridat in the Ghanaian capital, Host Ghana falls into Group A with Benin, Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone, while Group B has holder Togo, Niger, Senegal and Gabon.

Les Pantheres are said to be the only guest team for the eight-team tournament for members of the Zone West ‘B’.

Ghana is in Group C with Congo, Ethiopia and Lybia while Burkina Faso are housed in Group B with Morroco, Uganda and Zibabwe and then Gabon are in Group D with the likes of Burundi, DR Congo and Mauritania.

However the tournament is also expected to serve as a preparatory ground for Ghana, Burkina Faso and Gabon ahead of their participation for the next year’s Orange African Nations Champion (CHAN) in South Africa.
