ANUPA 2013 ANNUAL CONFERENCE: MEMBERS TASKED ON GLOBAL BEST PRACTICES

Members of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) have been called upon to imbibe global best practices in the discharge of their duties.

The call was made by speakers at the 2013 National Conference of the association at the Trenchard Hall of the University of Ibadan. with the theme “Emerging Issues and Global Best Practices in University Administration”.

The ongoing conference is an annual event in which all university administrators in Nigeria converge to review their activities during the year as well as set targets for the coming year.

The National President of the Association of Nigeria University Professional Administrator, Mr. Samuel Mwansat in an exclusive chat with CEOAFRICA, disclosed that the primary target for this year's event is basically to inculcate good service delivery on the members so as to keep in tune with the current trend and global best practices .

He also highlighted that specialists and technocrats in line with the theme of the year conference have been invited to give training and talks to the members of the professional body so that the administrative body can compete favourably with other administrations in other parts of the world.

However, over 1,000 administrators are attending the Conference in which issues surrounding administrative cadre of the tertiary institutions are usually deliberated upon.
