BREAKING: Scores Feared Dead In Multiple Bombings In Adamawa

As many as 80 people may be dead as three bombs exploded in Madagali town, in the northern part of Adamawa State in the morning of Friday, January 13, 2017.

Eye-witnesses told Daily Trust that three explosions occurred this morning at a crowded motor park on the outskirt of the town.

Volunteers and security officials are currently evacuating bodies of victims from the scene of the deadly bombing.

There is no official comment on the incident as at press time.

A local official who did not want his name published confirmed the attack, saying there was yet no detail of  casualty and that it was not clear whether the attacks were suicide bombing.

Nigerian Army spokesperson for the 28 Task Force Battalion in Mubi, Major Bakare Akintoye is unreachable for comment.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks which are believed to be the work of Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram.
