Ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the African Champions, Super Eagles, will be based at Victoria Hotel Concept Campinas which is 70 minutes’ drive from Sao Polo International Airport.

The venue was inspected by the Super Eagles Head Coach, Stephen Keshi, NFF’s Director of Marketing, Mr. Adama Idris, Assistant Director (Media), Mr. Ademola Olajire and Eagles’ Team Administrator, Mr. Enebi Achor, shortly after the draws for the mundia was made.

According to Coach Keshi, the hotel is an ideal facility that will truly help the Super Eagles concentrate on the business of aiming for a major impact at the FIFA World Cup finals.

“I love this place. It is good for our team and we will be able to achieve full concentration.

“It is also good that there is an airport in Campinas that serves domestic flights, so we don’t have to travel to Sao Paulo to fly to our different venues.”

The Team Base Camp Hotel is usually the base of every team at the Fifa World Cup finals, from where it travels to venues to honour its fixtures, during which it stays at Venue-Specific Team Hotel.

From Campinas, Super Eagles will travel to Curitiba to keep a date with Iran, to Cuiaba where they will face Bosnia-Herzegovina and to Porto Alegre where they will meet Argentina. Only Cuiaba is more than an hour’s flight from Campinas.
