NIGERIA (Zamfara) –Zamfara State Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Birnin-Magaji, has disclosed that the state would establish three FM radio stations as part of its efforts to improve public enlightenment and information dissemination.

The Commissioner revealed this during the defence of the ministry’s budget at the State Assembly.

He said the state government decided to establish the stations in Gummi, Talata-Mafara and Kaura-Namoda, after considering the importance of public enlightenment and information dissemination in the state, adding that the stations would hopefully be completed before 2015.

He urged the people of the state to support the state government in its effort to ensure effective leadership.
