The Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mr Abiodun Adekunle Odude within four months of his posting to head the Nigerian Police Force ,Oyo Command has described the Pace-Setter State, which was hitherto known as a volatile State, as one of the safest places in Nigeria, adding that his men have been working ceaselessly to ensure peace and order in the state.

Speaking at an interview with CEOAfrica on its Online Television Programme, ‘Community Today’, on Thursday 29th June, 2017, Mr Odude enumerated some of the achievements of the Police in stemming the tide of crime in the State within the past four months under his watch.
