A new Police Commissioner in the person of Micheal Ogbizi has been posted to the Abia state police command headquarters Umuahia to take over from the former commissioner Adeleye Oyebade.

 Adeleye Oyebade who succeeded Joshiak Habila now DIG operation, served less than two years as Abia state police commissioner.

The handover is taking place at the command headquarters in Umuahia the state capital now.

His removal, it was gathered could not be unconnected with the recent crisis going on in the state.
