OSF to Renovate United Secondary School Ijokodo

Touched by the dilapidated infrastructural state at the United Secondary School, Ijokodo Ibadan, the Inspection team of Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) has promised to give a face lift to the blocks of classroom during their visit to the school on Wednesday.

The team headed by Prince Paul Adelabu, former  Special adviser to Oyo State Government and  Mr Folarin JP were at the school to inspect the infrastructural state of the blocks of classroom.

 

Prince Adelabu astonished by the sorry state of United Secondary School Ijokodo , he said  “I cannot  imagined  such a school with dilapidated buildings could be in the heart of a city like Ibadan.” With what we met right now, the challenges on ground are far more than, the earlier promised One million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira (#1.5 m) by the foundation. “

 

The OSF team as a matter of urgency requested the Governing Board as well as the school authority to carry out an evaluation and come up with an estimate that will holistically turn around the state of infrastructures at the school.

 

 Present during the inspection were, the Principal of the School Mrs Oluyemisi Fakunle, Vice- Principals, Representatives of School';s governing board, Messrs Sanni Olukayode , Taofeek Moradeyo and Oluyemisi Kolawole Lukawere.
