NIGERIA (Katsina) –As part of measures to restructure the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Governors elected under the platform of the party has set up a powerful reconciliation committee to reconcile aggrieved members of the party, especially those that have defected to APC.

This was disclosed by the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State after a meeting of the PDP Governors in Katsina.

Akpabio said the aim of the committee was to help the PDP NWC ensure total reconciliation, including all the governors and members of National Assembly that have defected.

The PDP Governors also commended President Goodluck Jonathan for the peaceful change of leadership from the former national chairman of PDP, Bamanga Tukur to the new national chairman, Adamu Muazu.
