NIGERIA (Oyo)- Seven Commissioner nominees were confirmed today by the Oyo State House of Assembly during its plenary in Ibadan.

The list of the commissioners was sent to the House last week by Governor Abiola Ajimobi and their screening were concluded today.

The newly confirmed commissioners are – Mrs. Tinuke Oshikoya, Mr. Tayo Koleosho, Chief Fatai Abimbola and Alhaji Abideen Oladimeji.

Others are – Hon. Fatai Iyiola Ambali Ahamed, Hon. Fatai Buhari and Mr. Bonuola Azeez Oyinlade.

They were screened at the plenary presided over by the Speaker, Hon. Monsurat Sunmonu. She announced that all the seven commissioners performed wonderfully well with relevant qualifications to serve in the State Executive Council.

Hon. Sunmonu also advised the new commissioners to cooperate with the transformation agenda of Governor Ajimobi, adding that they should exhibit high sense of professionalism while discharging their duties.
