All is set for CEOAfrica to Host UI First Female Pharmacist Professor

The First Female Pharmacist Professor in the University of Ibadan and the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola is scheduled to make an appearance at CEOAfrica, an online media platform on Sunday, February 4th, 2018.

Professor Chinedum will feature as a special guest in an exclusive interview on ''Community Today'' a programme on CEOAfrica online TV where the topic '' The Impact of Private Institutions in Nigeria University Education'' as well as other pertinent issues affecting education will be discussed.

The media chat which would hold at the CEOAfrica Building at 24, Kudeti Avenue, Onireke, Ibadan, will witness the presence of journalists from other media organizations who will engage the Vice Chancellor on issues affecting the educational sector of Nigeria.

She is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, British Columbia University, Canada, Kilimanjaro School of Pharmacy and Purdue University, USA. Professor Chinedum is decorated with Bachelor of Pharmacy, M.Sc and PhD.

Professor Peace is a seasoned academician and productive administrator, who has received over twenty fellowships, awards and grants across the globe including the World Bank/NUC scholarship at the University of Columbia, Canada, Research Scholar at Hartford Hospital, USA, MacArthur Fellowship at College of Pharmacy and Temple University, USA among others.

Prior to her current appointment as the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University in 2017, she was the first female Dean of the faculty of pharmacy where she served for two tenures between 2013 and 2017.

Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola is happily married to Venerable Collins Olufemi Babalola and the union is blessed with wonderful children.
