KENYA- A bus driver and 2 passengers were on Thursday night killed by thugs who hijacked the bus that was ferrying commuters from Nairobi to Githurai.

Gatundu South OCPD Bernard Muli said that 5 thugs posing as passengers boarded the fateful bus belonging to Paradise Company at Ngala stage at 9:30 pm.

Muli said that the bus driver and the other commuters who had been stabbed by the thugs died at Gatundu Level Four Hospital. He said police in the entire Kiambu County had thrown a dragnet to apprehend the thugs who were armed with crude weapons.
