This was confirmed to LEADERSHIP by PDP’s sole administrator in Sokoto State and former member representing Guri/kirikasamm federal constituency in Jigawa State, Hon  Abba Anas Adamu.

He said that PDP was not a personal property of any individual and maintained that it was a political party built by Nigerians with common philosophy to  improve the  unity and progress of the country.

Hon Anas explained that the party is ready to work with  any Nigerian to wards attaining its goals and in view of that, the party is welcoming any good Nigerian who is interested in joining the party.

Hon Anas Adamu also accused Governor Sule Lamido of double standard in his relationship with the PDP, and advised him to desist from such acts before it is too late.

“Lamido is already losing grip in Jigawa  State. He has portrayed himself as God in the state. This is the same person that called Bamanga Tukur a tyrant and he is acting worse than Pharaohs”, he said.

He dared Governor Lamido to test his popularity by contesting presidential primaries in PDP against President Goodluck Jonathan saying that “ by doing so Lamido would surely know his limit and that of his godfather Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.”

He assured the people of Jigawa State that, PDP would do everything possible to ensure that all candidates fielded by the party for the 2015 general election would emerge by popular choice.

In reaction to Abba Anas Adamu’s accusations against Governor Lamido, a former Jigawa State deputy speaker under the defunct SDP , Alhaji Dawuro Bagana warned politicians to stop using the media to propagate disunity and hatred amongst the people.
