NIGERIA (Kano)- At the plenary held on Monday, 26, out of 31 members of the Kano House of Assembly has defected from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

It was gathered that the Speaker of the House, Alhaji Gambo Sallau and three other members were absent during the 26 lawmakers declaration of allegiance for the APC.

With this development, the APC is now in control of the House.
