500 women in Ibadan North East local government on Friday benefited from the Ajumose Food Bank, a pet project of the Wife of the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Mrs Florence Ajimobi

The women got raw food materials which include rice, yam, yam flour, beans, garri and provisions as part of the poverty alleviation scheme of Mrs Ajimobi.

The Ajumose Food Bank train each month distributes food to women in each local government area of the state and has moved round the 33 local government councils.

The programme for this year started last week at Ibadan North local government and moved to Ibadan North East on Friday

Speaking at the event, the First Lady cautioned women to be wary of greek gifts which are being used by some people to entice them, adding that such gifts are merely to confuse them

She urged women to move out enmasse to get registered on the APC platform before it closes as it is important to the position of the state at the federal level.
