Oyo Free Health Care: Sugar deserves our support in Oke-Ogun

The free medical care services rendered by Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF), founded by honorable member representing Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency and Chairman House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning. Hon. Olatoye Temitope Suagr has received a major boost as OSF extends its tentacles to the nooks and crannies of Oyo State such as: Iseyin, Oke-Ogun, Ogbomoso, Saki, Oyo, the eleven Local Government in Ibadan and the OSF state headquarters at Agbowo, UI Road, where it’s usually hold the grand finale of the weekly free medical services exercise.

The weekly routine has witnessed thousands of people who have benefitted from this scheme. At the State Headquarters in Ibadan, the venue for the grand finale of the weekly free medical service of OSF had people with different ailments are treated and major operations are been carried out.

Dr Adegoke Olaoluwa, while fielding questions from journalists at the State Headquarters of OSF revealed that patients who are battling with hernia would experience severe abdominal pain and untimely intervention from medical personnel can lead to the death of such patient. He encouraged the masses to visit the hospital frequently and put an end to self-medication.  

 Also, Olaoluwa described Hon Sugar as a benevolent man who takes care of people without collecting anything from them. He emphasized that 10 major surgeries on Hernia and Lump were carried out and Sugar though OSF covered all the expenses.

Mrs Zainab Abdulaih, one of the beneficiaries whose son was operated upon said ‘‘May God continue to uphold Hon. Sugar, he did the operation for my son without collecting money, May he continue to move forward’’.

 Mr. Ahmed Olowookere, whose left eye has been blind for 6years regained his sight last week on one of OSF's visits to Otu, the headquarters of Itesiwaju Local Government in Oyo North Senatorial district of Oyo State has advocated for Oke-Ogun indigenes support for Hon Temitope Olatoye Sugar in his rumored Oyo 2019 Gubernatorial ambition.

In Olowookere's account, he has been hearing of numerous philanthropic gestures of Hon (Dr) Olatoye Temitope Sugar foundation to thousands of people and many communities through his foundation but was not really convinced until the Almighty Allah miraculously used OSF to operate his left eye free of charge and can now see with his two eyes wide open.

The joyous beneficiary later urged the good people of Oke-Ogun to give maximum support to Sugar anytime he knocks at their doors for electoral support. He specifically mentioned that, politicians whom they have supposedly supported in the past have not shown much care like this pre-election time. Therefore, he is sure that Hon Sugar will deliver and surpass all electoral promises if given the opportunity to serve in higher political office having shown so much care to Oke Ogun people now that they have never given him any electoral support prior this moment.

At the Otu medical outreach, three other people regained their sights; more than 300 people were treated for bacteria eye infection and general body ailments with drugs worth millions of naira distributed to them all for free.

Beneficiaries of the eye operation, Adeyemo Adelani from komu who has been blind for the past one year, Sariyu Durowoju three months, and Afusat Ajirotutu four years were full of joy and appreciated  Hon Sugar for bringing this kind of project to them as a solution to their health challenges.

Other beneficiaries of eye bacterial infection and general body diseases also expressed their joy, thanked Hon sugar and also pledged their full support to throw their weight behind Hon Sugar if he runs for Oyo State Governor come 2019.
