Accreditation of delegates for voting for the rescheduled Ekiti State All Progressives Congress primary election has started amid the heavy presence of security personnel.

The number of armed policemen; operatives of the Department of State Services; Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps are presently more than the number of delegates that have arrived the venue so far.

The road leading to Damlek Event Centre at Oke-Ila area of Ado-Ekiti is cordoned off while security men frisk anyone entering into the area.

Some of the governorship aspirants: Opeyemi Bamidele; Ayo Arise and Gbenga Aluko were sighted entering the event center.
