Another set of people have been kidnapped along the Funtua-Birnin-Gwari Road in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

CEOAfrica gathered that the incident took place at about 3.30pm between Kiryoyi and Maganda villages in the local government area.

A member of the Birnin Gwari branch of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the 15 persons were abducted while travelling in five vehicles.

The source said that the abductors took the mobile devices and valuables belonging to the abductees after ordering them to get out of their vehicles.

As of the time of writing this report, the Kaduna State Police Command’s spokesman, Mukhtar Aliyu, could not be reached for comments.
