Former Senator representing Oyo Central, Sen. Ayoade Adedamola Adeseun on Saturday disclosed that Buhari has failed Nigerians.

He made this known during an interview with CEOAfrica at his residence in Ibadan.

Senator Adeseun while assessing the performance of President Muhammadu Buhari said  “All he has done in the last three is nothing to be excited about, despite the promises and opportunities that have been opened to him and his party, his administration has failed Nigerians  in terms of quality of life, the state of security in the nation,unemployment, closing of factories all over the country, very bad roads, etc. that tells me that it is either this government does not  know whatever it is they are doing or Nigerians are just unlucky to have had these set of people in the governance structures at this particular moment in time in our history

He has failed woefully, it’s never been this bad in times of security, people are being slaughtered like animals in their homes, these are ordinary Nigerians whom the government swore to protect at all times, In Ibadan for instance, you will find people who are well dressed begging for money for survival as a result of hunger and unemployment.”

Commenting on the Melaye action at the senate plenary, he said “He has actually not defected he’s only indicating that he is heading in the PDP direction, and I think it’s a wonderful thing. I’m not surprised, some others are still coming. He is one of the individual that the government has not been able suppress just like Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State.

Dino Melaye used to be a member of PDP and he felt the party was not doing the rightful things so he left; now he has tried another party and he has seen that the ruling party is so much worse, we are glad to have him back.”

However, Senator Ayoade Adeseun assured Nigerians of better governance under the leadership of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) come 2019.
