The Oyo state chairman of the People’s Democratic Party [PDP], Alhaji Omokunmi Mustapha expressing his opinion on the president making the late philanthropist Mko Abiola the GCFR said that what the president just did is nothing but a camouflage “to seek for votes from the southwest”. He said that the president decision will not change anything about how the citizens of the country feel about him.

Speaking with CEOAfrica, Alhaji Mustapha said if the president had that kind of good gesture in his heart, he would have done it the very first year of his administration but he made the move because election is near.

He said that the Ibarapa east election is a signal for the whole Nigeria to see that something is coming up in the south west come 2019.

“If something drastic is not done APC will loose the whole of South West” he said.

He further said that the move of making MKO Abiola can’t affect anything because it can’t solve the suffering of the people neither will it pay workers salary.

“What is paramount now is how to stop the suffering of the people and not doing something that has come and gone, therefore it has no effect on individual because Nigerians have made up their mind”.

In addition, the PDP chairman said that not all APC members are lovers of late MKO ABIOLA and he is sure that the president got the advice to make such move from Tinubu and not from all APC members.

“I quote, If the south west try to bring Buhari back come2019, the suffering they have never experience in their life, they will experience it”
