In a bid to foster the development of education at the grassroots, lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Abuja, Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina (popularly known as OMO OLOORE) on Monday presented Ipads to the winners of third edition of Omo oloore Quiz and Debate competitions held at Wesley College II,Ibadan.
Honorable Adesina while speaking with CEOAfrica, said what prompted the competitions was the promises he made at his campaign during the last election.

He said the schools have been benefitting from the competition but for the 3rd edition, the participants have been rewarded accordingly.
“During the last edition it was only the schools that benefitted from the competition, the students did not but today each student got a gift which will encourage them to perform better in their academic”

Also, he disclosed that in the first edition, there was nothing like scholarship but scholarship has now been included, which will be given to the best set of students that performed excellently.
Dapo Lam Adesina further explained that different subjects and past questions have been installed in the I pads given to the participants which will help them in their academic pursuits.

The results of the Competitions go thus:
Champion Nursery and Primary School emerged as the winner in the private School debate while Glory field Nursery and Primary School took the second position.
Likewise, Solam Model College won Private Secondary School debate while Periscope College came second.
For the Public School debate, Ayodele Samuel Memorial School Molete Ibadan emerged as the winner and Canon Okusende Memorial Primary school went home with second position.

At the Public Secondary School debate category, Yejide Girls Grammar School Molete Ibadan took the first position and Queen of Apostle came second.
In the quiz category for Private School, Ebire Nursery and Primary School won for the second time while Oyinlola Nursery and Primary School was left with the second position.

For Public School, Ayodele Memorial School went home with first position while Christ Church Mapo School took second position.
In the private secondary School Quiz Category, Emerald laurel Comprehensive College emerged as the winner while Solak Model College came second.

For the Public School category, Elete High school took the first position and Anglican Grammar School was left with the second position.
