Another drama played out Monday morning in Benue State as eight members of the House of Assembly threatened to issue notice of impeachment on Governor Samuel Ortom within the next seven days.

 According to reports, the ousted Speaker, Terkimibi Ikyange- led faction made the threat at a news conference in Makurdi.

 It was gathered earlier that some youths at about 5:00am today occupied the Assembly complex over an alleged plot by some members to impeach the governor.

 The police was however, said to have dispersed them (youths) with tear gas canisters.
