Imo State Deputy Governor, Ezekwem Madumere, has been removed from office.

He was impeached at about 1650 hours on Monday by 19 members of the Imo State House of Assembly.

Recall that the Imo State High Court had earlier on Monday stopped the impeachment process of Madumere
