Kano state youths have been urged to engage themselves in sanitizing the political processes ahead of 2019 general election.
State coordinator, ‘Not too young to run’ movement, Maryam Garba Usman, made the disclosure on Monday during the celebration of ‘International youth’s day’, in Kano.
The event which was organized by Centre for advocacy in Gender and Social Inclusion (CAGSI), had about 100 youths in attendance.
The coordinator said, this year’s gathering is aimed at setting an agenda for the youths ahead of 2019 general election.
On that same note, the state partnership facilitator of ‘Partnership to engage, reform and learn’ (PERL), Ibrahim Baban Galla challenged Nigerian youths to be focused and patriotic towards promoting their country.
Galla said PERL has been supporting CAGSI in organizing events that has to do with youths.
