Ahead of the 63rd HSN Annual National Conference, the leading online media organization in Africa, CEOAfrica has started a world class documentary on the “Impact of the Military in Nigerian history since 1960” from the prestigious Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna.

The documentary on the Nigerian Military which is first of its kind in reference/respect to the Nigerian Defence Academy aims to highlight the role of the Nigerian Military since 1960 till date, while capturing the views from the academia, stakeholders and the members of the public in response to the activities of the military and its impact on the nation.

The documentary promises major inputs from the oldest academic association now known as the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN) which was established in 1955.
The department of History and war studies, Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), the host department for the 63rd HSN Annual Conference which will hold from 7th - 11th October, 2018 at NDA old site Kaduna State.

The President of HSN, Professor C.B.N Ogbogbo in an interview with CEOAfrica described the theme for this year’s conference as quite apt as “the military shares in the pathologies of the country and indeed a major variable in the nation building challenges confronting Nigeria and its people”.
The head of the department History and war studies who doubles as the chairman local organizing committee for the conference, Professor CCC Osakwe briefed the crew on the success of the department with the mantra “we lead and others follow” and further expressed readiness to host the 63rd HSN Annual National Conference saying “we are ready, even if the conference is shifted earlier, we are ready to host the cream of the cream of the Academia from all over the world.
