Prior to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria will take on Libya in the AFCON qualifier match on October 13 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.

Complete Sports reports that head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, is satisfied with the facilities after inspection and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has already been informed of the venue.

“I want to inform you that there is no issue about the venue for our match against Libya because we have decided to play at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna. Coach Rohr is satisfied with the facilities he inspected and he did not reject it as reported.

“We have informed CAF that the venue of the match with Libya will be Kaduna and we are not going back on that.

“Whatever flaws observed during the inspection of the stadium will be put in place before the end of the month,” a NFF source said.

Libya currently tops Group E of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers with four points after two rounds of games.

They are ahead of South Africa who also has four points on goal difference.

Nigeria occupies the third position with three points, while Seychelles is at the bottom without any point
