The role entrepreneurs and by extension small and medium enterprises (SMEs) play in the development of country is very important. They have greatly contributed to the Nigerian development in terms of employment, growth and development, and marketing of goods and services. Small and medium scale industries and entrepreneurs have contributed and continue to contribute significantly to growing the economy and solving problems.
A lot of people rely on the small and medium enterprises either directly or indirectly. Small and medium enterprises have significant effect on employment and tax revenue, income distribution.
Entrepreneurs and business owners face a lot of uncertainties and risks form government policies, weather, availability of funds, changing technology and several others.
It is therefore imperative that Government and policy makers strive to make the business environment as conducive as possible.
It is based on the foregoing that CEOAfrica MD, Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, 19th of November met with leading African and international investors in Kenya for the re-positioning of the leading African online media platform. Prince Cletus used the opportunity to call on African leaders and Head of States, institutions and people of goodwill to make funds easily accessible for African entrepreneurs for this is the only way Africa can emerge an economic power come 2060.
He added that Africa is blessed with human capital and mineral resources, which can re-position the continent as an economic power if well harnessed
