Blessing Okagbare makes Nigeria proud as she emerged the first woman to win three long jump titles at the World Championships.

The Nigeria Athlete on Sunday secured Nigeria’s first medal at the IAAF World Championsips in Moscow after leaping 6.99 metres in the women’s long jump.

Okagbare commenting on her victory said, the event was not an easy one as people may think as she had to summon all focus on the jump without minding any distraction.

She however said that it was all by God’s Grace, giving glory to God and also appreciating family and friends for their supports.

Okagbare who led in the first round with 6.89 metres, amazingly improved to 6.99 metres, winning the silver medal.
