The Federal Government has been urged by the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) to keep a close security watch on Major Almustapha, the former Chief Security Officer (CSO) to Late Head of States, Gen. Asnni Abacha.

This statement was confirmed from the utterances of Mr. Oyeyinka Awoyemi,  Osun State Coordinator and  Mr. Waheed Olaniyan, Secretary, who warned that despite having been discharged and acquitted of his alleged offences, Major Hamzal Almustapha should be kept under security watch.

The OPC group however has expressed its readiness to confront the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram, if it tampers with the Southwest, declaring of its readiness to collaborate with the Police to fight terrorism.
