The People of Osun State trooped out in large number despite the early morning rainfall to welcome members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the grand finale of the party’s governorship campaigns at the Osogbo Stadium. 

President Goodluck Jonathan, Vice President Namadi Sambo, the party’s Board of Trustees chairman, Chief Tony Anenih; National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu. The Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum Gov. Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom led other governors to the event of the grand finale of the party’s governorship campaigns.

Varios entertainers were present at the event to entertain the crowd and also to show soliddarity with the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Sentaor Iyiola Omisore

Majority of PDP big wigs were present at the event, the speaker of the house of representative, , the governor elect in Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Alao Akala amongst other dignitaries.

The Vice President Namadi Sambo birthday coincides with the event and the crowd celebrated with him.

Femi Fani-Kayode was officially welcomed back to the party.
