As part of the People's Democratic Party grand finale campaigns for the forth coming election in Osun State, President Goodluck Jonathan visited the  Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade  and assured him that Nigeria will soon be free from the embarrassment brought on it by the activities of the terrorist Islamic group, Boko Haram.

Jonathan had paid homage to the monarch before the finale campaigns of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore which took place at the Osogbo Stadium.

The Osun State Governorship election is slated for August 9.

Jonathan assured the monarch that the scourge of insurgency will soon be a thing of the past.
