Quake of magnitude 6.4 hits Papua New Guinea - Report

New Guinea - A 6.2-magnitude earthquake hit 25km north of Kandrian, Papua New Guinea, on Monday according to the US Geological Survey.
The tremor, which occurred at 6.21pm local time, was initially determined to be at 5.990 degrees south latitude and 149.552 degrees east longitude at a depth of 59km, according to report.
No tsunami warning has been issued as well and there were no immediate reports of damage.
Meanwhile, earby Indonesia's Moluccas islands were hit by scores of aftershocks on Monday after an earthquake killed at least two people, prompting hundreds of people to flee their homes.
