FCT, Abuja -                                        The Senate, Monday adjourned its plenary after screening three Buhari’s ministerial nominees.

The nominees include the former Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, Muhammad Mahmoud, the former Chairman of Buhari Support Organisation (Kaduna State) and Senator Gbemisola Saraki from Kwara State.

While the red seats chamber spent a lot of time bombarding Fashola with questions , the other two ministerial nominees were asked to take a bow and go.

Saraki was asked to take a bow for being a former senator.

While Mahmoud was asked to take a bow for being an ex-state lawmaker.

Senate President Ahmed Lawan asked Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, to address Mahmoud before he took a bow as a former Kaduna House of Assembly member.

Abaribe, however, said, “My hands are tied.”

But Lawan interjected, saying Abaribe’s hands were not tied as he was speaking on behalf of the Senate.
