Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun state organized a 5-Day Entrepreneurship and capacity building to train the final year and the 300 level students of the institution to prepare the students to be employable and be employers of labour after graduation.
The motive behind the 5-Day empowerment training which held between 22nd – 26th July, 2019, in the institution was coordinated by the African Leadership Forum (ALF) Lagos and London Professional Training Centre (LPTC), Nigeria Centre, Lagos, is to the students to become economically self-sufficient and wealth creators after their graduation.
The Vice Chancellor of University, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola said “This is part of fulfilment of my strategic goals which is to set up an Entrepreneurship Centre and to ensure that each student of Chrisland University graduates with more than one certificate”.
“The VC Prof. Babalola said “The 5-Day Entrepreneurship and Capacity Building training was to prepare the students to be employable and be employers of labour after graduation;
The students were exposed to various packages including starter packs, leadership, job interviews, business designs and lots more”.

Professor Babalola however said that the students will be certified.
The University appreciated immensely the efforts of the Entrepreneurship Coordinator Dr. Babatunde Agbi for organizing the training and the trainers from ALF and LPTC.

The African Leadership Forum (ALF) has been involved in Leadership development, Capacity Building Enterprise Development and Economic Empowerment since 1988. ALF has trained and capacitated more than 18,000 entrepreneurs in its entrepreneurship development programmes.
London Profession Training Centre (LPTC) runs its UK-accredited Programmes from Satellites Centres in Nigeria and offers training, capacity building and consultancy services. They run foreign certification courses and prepare graduates for employability and business.
