“I urged all the Southwest governors to take politics aside to seek for the development of the region together while they should see themselves as one in ensuring that the security of lives and property of the citizens in the region is maximumly secured” he said.

While commending the efforts and commitments of the twentieth indigenous Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed A. Adamu, “I really appreciate the efforts and commitments of the IGP, Adamu for this uncommon initiative. The IGP has made the promise of tackling insecurity challenges in Nigeria at a meeting with the president,  Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja of which I was there, and now, this step shows that the Nigeria Police Force is truly serious to curb the insecurity threats in the country”.

He further stated that, what came out of the meeting is that, all stakeholders would be carried along. That means, we are making progress in our region.
