A total of 188 Nigerians are on their way to Lagos from South  Africa our correspondent can confirm.

They are among the people who have accepted the evacuation plan offered by Air Peace.

The plane is now ready to take off.  It was earlier scheduled to leave at 9:10 am but experienced over seven hours delay.

Flight time from South Africa to Nigeria is approximately six hours, so the plane is expected to land at 8.30pm.
