There is heavy security presence in Uyo and its environ as President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan visits the state today to commission a gas processing facility as well as a 69-kilometre gas pipeline at Uquo-Ibeno.

The state Commissioner for Information and Communications in Akwa Ibom , Mr. Aniekan Umanah in a statement, said President Jonathan will commission the gas processing facility alongside the 69 kilometers pipeline at Uquo, constructed under a public private partnership arrangement between Septa Energy and the Government of Akwa Ibom.
