The Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola on behalf of the Management and Staff of the institution wishes to invite everyone to her maiden convocation ceremonies scheduled to hold from Wednesday 30th October to Friday 1st November 2019 at the University.

According to the invitation letter, the first convocation lecture will be delivered by the former Executive Secretary, NUC, Professor Peter Oyebukola with the theme “Building a World Class University in Africa: The Role of Private Universities by 10:00am at the University Auditorium.

The Convocation Play/Variety Night will take place at the same venue by 6:00pm of the day.

Meanwhile, on Thursday 31st, conferment of Chieftaincy title on the Chancellor, High Chief Dr. (Mrs.) Winifred Awosika (OON) by His Royal Highness, Oba Gbadebo II, Alake of Egbaland at the Alake’s Palace by 10:00am while Endowment Fund/Luncheon will hold by 2:00pm at the Chrisland University Campus.

Also, by Friday 1st of November, the Award of First Degrees and presentation of prizes, with the Theme of Speech “Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship: A critical Intersection for Economic Development in Africa” will hold by 10:00am at the Convocation arena, while Thanksgiving Service will come up on Sunday 3rd by 10:00am at the University Auditorium of the institution.

However, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Babalola said “your attendance to this memorable occasion will be highly appreciated”.
