Nigeria Immigration Service celebrates Christmas Carol in grand style

The Nigeria Immigration Service, Oyo state command on Wednesday, 18th of December 2019 held its Christmas Carol in a grand style.

The Christmas Carol was to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, preaching love and peaceful coexistence among citizens for a united Nigeria.

The Oyo State comptroller, NIS Saleh Abdullahi in his welcome address expressed joy for the command organizing such a great concert, which he described as a period to show love to everyone for our society to be a better place. 

NIS Saleh Abdullahi lauded the Supreme Court for affirming Gov Seyi Makinde victory in the last governorship election.

According to him, Christmas is done in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ. He described Christmas as an event which comes ones in a year and as a unique occasion that goes with fun and pleasantry.

Speaking further, he said “Christmas as we all know is celebrated in every twelfth month of the year and a lot of decoration is done during the season, even grasses. Christmas witness more sales, more patronages, more occasions and remembrance”.

The season also witness exchange of gift, many organization even pay thirteenth salary to make the season memorable.

NIS Saleh Abdullahi on behalf of the command wish all Nigerians, the entire Nigeria Immigration Service and Oyo State a very happy celebration.

The event was marked with different Christmas songs.
