India’s Federal Home Minister, Amit Shah has been admitted to a hospital again after he complained of fatigue and body aches, days after he had recovered from COVID-19.
Shah, a powerful ruling party leader regarded as a deputy to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was admitted to the state-run All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Monday.
It was gathered that the minister has been admitted to AIIMS for post-COVID care where he feels is comfortable and is continuing his work from the hospital.
The hospital spokeswoman, Aarti Vij in a statement explained that Shah who was taken to the hospital as he had a mild fever and difficulty breathing was earlier discharged from a private hospital on Friday after recovering from COVID-19.
The 55 years old Shah had tweeted he would be in home isolation for a few more days on the advice of his doctors.
