Former President, Dignitaries Commiserates With Senator Ladoja Over Mother's Death

The Oyo State governor, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, Prominent businessman, Engr. Seyi Makinde, former governor of Oyo state Chief Alao Akala, former President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo amongst others commiserates with the former governor of Oyo state and the National leader of Accord party, Sen. Adewolu Rahidi Ladoja  at his resident at old Bodija Ondo street, Bodija Ibadan, over the death of his mother Alhaja Halimotu Ladoja who died on Wednesday night 27th of August 2014 at age 94.

In a testimonial during the condolence visit, Alhaja Halimotu Ladoja, who was referred to as a devoted Muslim and also a quintessential mother, a loving and caring mother who is an epitome of motherhood to all, she is a mother to the motherless, a philanthropist who is ready to drop all for the less privileged.

According to the Oyo state governor, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, "mama deserves to be celebrated rather than mourned, with the calibre of children she was able to raise, may the almighty Allah grant her Aljanah Firdaus, and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss" he said.

The former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, console the Ladoja's family for the great loss of their mother, and a great grandmother, "we need not to mourn her because she was a successful mother" he said.

"Mama has only gone to rest from the troubles of this world, though she is dead, but her good deeds lives on, she will forever remain in our heart" Engr. Seyi Makinde said. He therefore prayed that mama's soul will rest in peace.

The Firdaus for Alhaja Halimotu Ladoja holds tomorrow 4th of September 2014 at the Ibadan Recreation club at 10am.
