6 PRIVATE HOSPITALS IN EBONYI GETS N200M FROM GOVERNOR ELECHI

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Martin Elechi has disbursed N200 million to six rural hospitals under his Health Intervention Initiative in the 15th tranche of grants to rural private hospitals.

The benefiting hospitals are: Mater Misericordae Hospital, Afikpo, N36 million; Presbyterian Joint Hospital, Uburu, N22 million; and Rural Improvement Mission Hospital, Ikwo, N41.2 million.

Others are: Mile Four Hospital, Abakaliki, N30.6 million; St Vincent Hospital Ndubia, N35.2 million; and Sudan United Mission Hospital, Onuenyim Izzi, N35 million.

Elechi, who distributed the grants in Abakaliki at the weekend, urged the management of the hospitals to make judicious use of the funds to save lives.
