Man Arraigned For Impersonation In Osun

Kehinde Olusegun, a 51-year-old man, was arraigned in Osogbo on Monday, 8th September, 2014 for allegedly impersonating as lecturer of the National Open University of Nigeria.

The Prosecutor, Idoko James, told the Magistrates’ Court that the accused committed the offence on January 21 at about 5pm at NOUN premises in Osogbo. He said the accused allegedly pretended to be a lecturer of National Open University of Nigeria and organised evening tutorial classes for students of the university within the premises.

 It is also said that, the accused distributed hand bills and stickers, which condemned the institution and its graduates. The prosecutor said the act caused mayhem within the university.
