More facts available to New Telegraph indicate that the building that collapsed on the premises of The Synagogue Church of All Nations was five stories and was under construction when it caved in.

According to a witness at the scene, rescue work is on to free a number of workers believed to be trapped under the rubble while ambulances have ferried a number of injured people to the Igando General Hospital from the church located in Ejigbo, a Lagos suburb.

Incidentally, an aide of Prophet Temitope Joshua, the General Overseer of the church had earlier told New Telegraph that there were no casualties from the incident.

Speaking on phone, the aide insisted that it was part of the guest house located towards the back of the expansive church land that collapsed and not the main building.

He, however, declined to say if any form of injuries were recorded during the incident.
