The public lecture organised by Discalced Carmelite House of Studies, Ibadan, in honour of ST Joseph, the foster father of Jesus Christ is holding today, Wednesday, 10th of March, 2021.

The lecture is taking place at Chapel of Divine Union, St. John of the Cross Carmelite, Ologuneru, Ibadan, by 4pm.

The public lecture is themed: “Devotion to St. Joseph the Church as Envisioned by ST. Teresa of Avila.”

The guest speaker of the lecture is Rev. Fr. Cyril Udom, OCD, while Fr. Prof. Jude Mbukama, OP, from Dominican University, Ibadan will be the moderator.

 The lecture will provide first-hand knowledge on the great inspiration of Teresa of Avila, who’s often described as one who gave the age long devotion in the Church, especially in the Carmelite tradition, a new impetus.

The general public are therefore urged to take advantage of this opportunity as it is a time to tap into the rich grace of God.
