THURSDAY- 2nd September, 2021: The Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAH&PT), Moor Plantation Ibadan, has on Monday 30th August, 2021, commenced a new academic session for 2021/2022.
The college provost, Dr. A.O. Owosibo disclosed this in an interview with CEOAFRICA on Thursday.
Dr. Owosibo, on behalf of governing board and entire management of the college welcomed both fresh and returning students back to campus, wishing them a successful session ahead.
According to the provost, the college is an undergraduate institution that is out to provide quality education in the specialized field of Animal Health and Production Technology and related subjects in Nigeria.
He stated that the academic staff of the institution, made up of seasoned academicians and other professionals, are set to handle the planning and take-off academic activities as the academic session resumes in the month of August.
While welcoming the students and staff back to the school for new academic session, he charged members of the staff not to relent in transforming their knowledge and come up with innovations, programmes and ideas that will foster new direction for economic diversification of the country.
The provost also proffered solid advice to the students, to be steadfast in their academic pursuit which is their primary objective in the college, advising them to shun all behaviours or acts that can result to rustication or expulsion from the college.
